About
Agnidravakam (also known as Agnidravaka or Agnidravaka Arka) is a classical Ayurvedic formulation known for its potent digestive and carminative properties. It is mainly used to treat indigestion, flatulence, loss of appetite, and abdominal discomfort.
The name “Agnidravakam” literally means “that which kindles the digestive fire (Agni).” It acts as a deepana (digestive stimulant) and pachana (digestant), helping to eliminate Ama (toxins) and restore proper digestion and metabolism.
It is particularly beneficial in conditions caused by Kapha and Vata imbalance, such as bloating, acidity, and sluggish digestion.
