Mahasneham is a classical Ayurvedic medicated ghee/oil preparation (Sneha Kalpana) prepared using multiple herbs processed in ghee (Ghrita) and sesame oil (Tila Taila). It is widely used for neurological, musculoskeletal, and Vata-related disorders.

Mahasneham is considered a comprehensive oleation medicine, beneficial both for internal use (Pana) and external therapies (Abhyanga, Snehana, Basti, etc.).
