About
Mahathikthakam Ghrutham Ointment is the external application form of the classical Ayurvedic formulation Mahathikthakam Ghrutham. It is prepared with ghee infused with bitter-tasting herbs (Tikta Dravyas) known for their anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, wound-healing, and skin-protective properties. This ointment is widely used for chronic skin diseases, wounds, ulcers, burns, and inflammatory conditions.
Traditionally, it helps in purifying the skin, promoting healing, and balancing Pitta and Kapha doshas.

Dosage & Administration (External Use)

Application: Apply a thin layer over the affected area 1–2 times daily or as prescribed

For wounds: Clean wound area with lukewarm water or mild antiseptic before applying
