Nisothamadi Kashayam is a classical Ayurvedic herbal decoction widely used as a purgative and detoxifier. Its main ingredient, Nisotham (Operculina turpethum / Trivrit), is well known in Ayurveda for its strong laxative and cleansing properties. This Kashayam is primarily prescribed to expel ama (toxins) from the body and to balance Kapha and Pitta doshas.
