Urvaruka Ghrutham (also spelled Urvarukam Ghritam) is a classical Ayurvedic medicated ghee formulation renowned for its rejuvenative (Rasayana), anti-inflammatory, and neuroprotective properties.
The name “Urvaruka” is derived from the Sanskrit word meaning “cucumber”, which in Ayurvedic texts symbolizes release from diseases and suffering, similar to how a cucumber naturally detaches from its stem.
Urvaruka Ghrutham is primarily used for neurological disorders, chronic fevers, epilepsy, skin diseases, and debility. It supports the nervous system, strengthens the mind and body, and helps restore vital energy (Ojas).
