Abhayarishtam (also called Abhayarishta) is a classical Ayurvedic fermented herbal formulation primarily used as a digestive and mild laxative. It contains Haritaki (Terminalia chebula) as the chief ingredient, along with other herbs, jaggery, and natural fermentation that produces self-generated alcohol, which helps in better absorption of the medicine. Traditionally, it is prescribed for constipation, piles, bloating, and digestive disorders.
