Gulguluthikthakam Thailam (also spelled Guggulutiktakam Thailam) is a classical Ayurvedic medicated oil renowned for its detoxifying, anti-inflammatory, and skin-healing properties.
It is derived from the famous Gulguluthikthaka Kashayam formulation, where potent herbs like Guggulu (Commiphora mukul) and Tikta (bitter) group herbs are infused in a base of sesame oil.
This Thailam is widely used for external application and Abhyanga (massage) in the treatment of skin diseases, arthritis, inflammation, and musculoskeletal disorders. It is also used internally under strict Ayurvedic supervision in certain chronic conditions.
