About 

Jeevanthyadi Yamakam is a classical Ayurvedic medicated ointment prepared in a unique yamaka base (a combination of ghee and oil as the medium). It is mainly used in eye disorders, skin ailments, and wound healing. The key herb Jeevanthi (Leptadenia reticulata) gives the formulation its name, known for its rejuvenative, cooling, and healing properties.

This ointment is traditionally applied for soothing eye conditions, inflammatory skin disorders, and non-healing wounds.

Dosage & Usage

• For eyes: Applied as an ointment in the lower eyelid margin (as prescribed by an Ayurvedic physician)

• For skin: Applied externally over affected area 1–2 times daily

• For wounds/ulcers: Apply a thin layer on cleaned wound surface

(Dosage and duration should always be guided by an Ayurvedic physician, especially for eye applications.)
