About
Kshara Thailam is a classical Ayurvedic medicated oil widely used for the management of piles (hemorrhoids), fistula-in-ano, fissures, and other anorectal conditions. Prepared with a base of coconut oil or sesame oil, it is processed with alkaline herbal extracts (Kshara) that help reduce pain, swelling, and itching in the anal region.
This formulation is mainly applied externally but can also be administered under medical supervision in certain procedures for ano-rectal disorders.
