This Thailam is prepared in a base of coconut oil (Keratailam) infused with herbs like Nisa (Turmeric), Seeri (Cumin), and other Pitta- and Vata-pacifying herbs. It is known for its cooling, anti-inflammatory, and nerve-strengthening properties.

It is commonly used for external application, head massage (Shiro Abhyanga), and nasal administration (Nasya).

Dosage & Administration

Usage Methods:

  1. External application (Abhyanga): Apply gently on head or affected area, keep for 20–30 minutes, and wash off with lukewarm water.

  2. Shiro Abhyanga (Head Massage): Regular head massage improves sleep and reduces stress.

  3. Nasya (Nasal drops): 2–4 drops in each nostril (under medical supervision).
