About
Panchathikthakam Kashayam (also known as Pancha Tikta Kashayam) is a classical Ayurvedic herbal decoction made from five bitter herbs (Pancha Tikta) — Neem (Nimba), Patola, Vasa, Guduchi, and Katurohini (Kutki).
The word “Panchathikthakam” literally means “five bitter substances.” These herbs are well-known for their powerful detoxifying, anti-inflammatory, and skin-healing properties. It is widely used to purify blood, treat chronic skin diseases, liver disorders, and inflammatory conditions associated with aggravated Pitta and Kapha doshas.
