About 

Pinda Thailam is a classical Ayurvedic herbal medicated oil widely used in the management of Pitta-related inflammatory conditions. It is prepared with a base of Manjishta (Rubia cordifolia), Sariva (Hemidesmus indicus), Madhuca (Madhuca indica) and cow’s milk, processed in sesame oil.

It is particularly effective in treating burning sensations, skin inflammation, arthritis, and gout by cooling and pacifying Pitta and Rakta doshas.

Dosage & Administration

• External application only

• Warm gently and apply over affected area

• Used in Abhyanga (massage), Pichu, Dhara, and Lepam therapies

• Can be applied 2–3 times daily or as directed by a physician

Precautions

• For external use only – not for internal consumption

• Avoid applying on open, deep, or infected wounds unless advised by a doctor

• Should be used under Ayurvedic supervision for chronic conditions

• Store in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight
