Surasasavam (also called Surasāsava) is a classical Ayurvedic fermented formulation (Asava) prepared using Tulasi (Ocimum sanctum / Holy Basil) as the main ingredient.
It is primarily indicated for digestive disorders, respiratory ailments, and general weakness.
The term “Surasā” refers to Holy Basil (Tulasi), a sacred herb known for its antimicrobial, antipyretic, and adaptogenic properties.
