About

Veeratharadyasavam (also spelled Veerataradyasavam) is a fermented Ayurvedic formulation (Asava) primarily used for urinary tract disorders, kidney health, and reproductive health. It is prepared using Veerataru (Crataeva nurvala) as the chief ingredient, along with multiple herbs that undergo natural fermentation, making it self-generated alcohol-based, which helps in better absorption and preservation of active principles.

This formulation is especially beneficial in mutrakrichra (painful urination), mutraghata (urinary retention), ashmari (urinary calculi), and other urinary tract conditions.

Dosage & Administration

• Adults: 15–30 ml once or twice daily, after meals

• To be taken with an equal quantity of water

• Best taken after food for digestion and absorption

• Duration depends on condition (generally 2–3 months for urinary health)

Precautions

• Should be taken only under Ayurvedic physician’s guidance

• Not recommended for children below 12 years unless prescribed

• Use with caution in diabetic patients (contains natural sugars from fermentation)

• Pregnant and lactating women should take only on prescription
