About
Vilwadi Gulika (also known as Vilwadi Gutika) is a classical Ayurvedic formulation prepared in tablet form, widely used in South India, especially in Kerala. It is mainly prescribed for poison-related conditions, insect and snake bites, fevers, indigestion, and infections. Traditionally, it is also used as a preventive and curative medicine for toxic conditions and is known for its antitoxic, antimicrobial, and digestive properties.

Dosage & Administration

Internal Use:

Adults: 1–2 tablets, once or twice daily with water, tender coconut water, or honey (as directed by an Ayurvedic physician)

Children: Dose should be adjusted by a physician

Crushed tablet can be made into a paste with water and applied over insect or snake bite areas (only as a traditional supportive measure; immediate medical help is mandatory).
